With ever more stringent safety rules coming into play, companies need to ensure that their machinery is not just safe,
but meets the necessary standards.
Merlin Control Systems Ltd can design and install, upgrade and modify equipment to include the safety system required
for the application, as defined by it's risk category. This could be the interface to a simple safety gate, or more
complex systems, dual channel with cross monitoring and feedback. Our systems use hardware from the industry leaders.
We can offer a complete solution, including the specification and supply of the appropriate equipment, light barriers,
pressure mats, interlocking systems and safety relay interfaces.
As an example, the photograph shows a new control cabinet designed and built by ourselves for a large, dual-mould, blow
moulding machine. The cabinet includes safety relay interfaces for two light barriers, two pressure mats and three
interlocking doors. Such interfaces can normally be installed into existing control systems.
